In Sedona, Arizona, there's no such thing as a slow season. I feel so grateful to live in a cute little mountain town here in Flagstaff that's just a quick drive to national treasures like the Sedona red rocks, the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Saguaro Cacti in Phoenix and more. When it gets too snowy or muddy or windy up here it's nice to catch up with clients in some of the most beautiful places for photography. My friend from college, Jayden, and her fiance (also a Northern Arizona University Alum) honored me with the task of taking their engagement photos in Sedona, Arizona to prep for their California wedding this upcoming summer. I'm always humbled when long-time friends want me to be included in their wedding as their photographer and this was no exception. Jayden is one of the most graceful women I've ever met in my life and I wanted to exceed her expectations when it came to her engagement session.... oh and Matt too!

We interrupt this scroll to warn you that this is where the magic happened. Little did we know while we were playing around that a full moon was rising. We headed down to my secret spot (among a very popular location) and as I was prompting the next set of photos we got to watch a once-in-a-lifetime moonrise over the Sedona red rocks.
