Who are you and what service do you offer in the Flagstaff Wedding Vendor arena?
My name is Ash Lune. I am a nature lover, overly proud dog mom and creative entrepreneur. I offer wedding and special event hair and makeup services in Northern Arizona and beyond.
How long have you been creating in your space and what made you decide to offer these services for Arizona couples planning their weddings?
I have been doing hair and makeup for just over a decade. I decided to service Arizona couples planning their weddings because I noticed a need for someone like me who might be willing to travel to the gorgeous nooks and cranny’s of Northern Arizona to provide hair & makeup services. For elopements and destination weddings, finding an on location makeup artist can be a feat. I wanted to make myself available to fellow nature lovers, who want to get married tucked between canyon walls or surrounded by the pines. Offering on location services anywhere made sense, given the beautiful and sometimes remote landscape couples are choosing to get married in.
Where are you based currently and what areas or Northern Arizona do you serve?
I am based in Sedona, Arizona. I serve Flagstaff, Sedona, Phoenix and really anywhere in the South Western region.
What is your favorite thing about your business?
My favorite thing about my business is that I work in the industry of celebrating love. I get to be there to celebrate with a bride on such a special day, and the energy during that time really sets the tone for the day. It’s not just about doing hair & makeup, there is so much more to it and I love that.
How would you describe your "Dream Client"?
My dream client is someone who is skipping tradition and instead embodying what they feel a wedding should look like. They are trading a giant wedding for an elopement or micro wedding, and getting married in a place they revere and hold dearly. Presence is important to them on their wedding day, and they want me to bring out their natural attributes in their hair and makeup.
