This is the time of year where I often find myself preoccupied with, "what the heck am I going to get so-and-so?". I have so many people in my life who, when it comes to gift giving holidays, already have it all. If you have a loved one that stumps you year after year when it comes to gift giving I have a pretty reliable solution: a photoshoot. That they can redeem at any time. Poof! There goes the issue of missing the deadline on holiday cards - there's a new sheriff in town.
Don't get me wrong, I'm completely and totally coming from a place of bias. BUT I'm not wrong and you know it! What do moms love more than anything? When their kids get together. And aren't you sick of your grandparents posting the worst photos ever of you on Facebook when it's your birthday? Gentlemen (and ladies), I promise your girlfriend wants a cute AF photoshoot with you. Suck it up and make her day!
Trust me, this is the gift that keeps on giving. Last year I turned a photo I took into a puzzle on Shutterfly and even that turned into a fun activity for my father who lives out of state. He was able to mod podge and hang it in his home. The options are endless.
Not only do photoshoots give you a hard copy of something to look back on and a way to celebrate your family's uniqueness, it also stands as a memory in and of itself. I can't tell you how many of my clients shoot me a text sharing how much fun they had laughing during our photoshoots - usually followed with a statement along the lines of, "and so-and-so never has fun during family photos."
