What is a photoshoot with you like?
You’re probably wondering what exactly a session with Nettik Photography looks and feels like. The simple answer is that we keep it laid back and we go with the flow. My client’s testimonials often include descriptions of the fun we have together and the comfort established during our session. One of my favorite quotes from a previous client is, “Jessie made us feel like we were with an old friend.” I am motivated to bring that same comfort to each individual and group I work with. We are going to hang out, explore, move around, get close, get goofy, laugh, enjoy the outdoors, create intimate moments and embrace the experience. Ultimately, my goal is to capture photos of you that you actually like and feel confident sharing, framing and revisiting. I work to balance our session; making space to play with prompts that help break the ice and show off your unique personality, pausing to embrace the moment and capture smaller details of your story and, of course, capturing those traditional photos you can frame in your home.
My hope is that you and I can trust one another. I want you to come into our session with a deep breath and faith that I will make sure you look your best in our photos. I have worked with a huge variety of clients from those who know how to work a camera to those of us who are more camera shy and you’d never be able to tell which is which when browsing my portfolio. My hope for you is that you know without a shadow of a doubt you are working in a judgement-free environment. Know that I am here as your hype-girl, wing-woman and sister to make sure we capture your true self. You know those days where you look in the mirror and think, “Damn! I look and feel great today!”? My hope is that your photos make you feel that same level of confidence and self-admiration. I want to create photos you can feel; my hope is that when you look back on your photos you remember how you felt in that moment of your life. My hope for you is that you receive your final digital album and think, “That’s me. That’s us.”
How many photos do I get back?
Many photographers limit the amount they deliver to 15 images or so, but that's not how I like to do things. I deliver as many "use-able" photos as I can to you - so as long as the photo is sharp and everyone looks good you'll get it. There's no point in me not delivering as many photos to you as possible. They are your memories. You should have them all!
On average my clients get about 30-40 photos back (though often times they get more).
How do I get my photos?
I deliver all my albums through a platform called Pixieset. This platform allows me to create and send a private digital album to all your high-quality photos. Once you have the link to your album you can easily share with friends and family, download the full album to your device and even order prints to frame in your home!
How long will it take to get my photos back?
Photo albums are edited and delivered in order of when they are shot. Typically the editing process takes between one and two weeks for sessions and between three and four weeks for weddings. Need them sooner? Talk with the photographer about adding a "fast pass" to your invoice.
Do you print photos for me?
Nettik Photography prides itself on high quality work delivered fast. Typically session photoshoots like engagement, family portraits, or branding are delivered no more than a week and a half after the time of the photoshoot. For larger events like weddings you can expect delivery no more than three weeks after the event. On top of that, Jess will always try to send you a “sneak peek” photo within 24 hours of your session to hold you over until the full album is ready to view.
Do you edit the photos for me?
Yes! Editing is included with all photoshoots.
